Kids play.
Zoos learn.

Introducing Scaventure โ€” a QR-based exhibit game that turns curiosity into data.

See How It Works
The Concept

One scan.
Two stories.

Scaventure sits quietly at every exhibit โ€” a QR code on a sign, a sticker on a post. Kids scan it with any phone camera. No app download. No account. No adult assistance required. That's the whole barrier to entry.

What happens next depends entirely on who's watching.

๐Ÿง’

For the kids

A gold coin drops. A fact about the animal or exhibit appears. The hunt is on. Scaventure turns a zoo visit into a self-directed game that kids drive themselves, exhibit by exhibit, at their own pace.

The reward loop is simple and satisfying. Kids who might disengage halfway through a visit stay curious all the way to the exit.

No friction. No tutorial. Just scan, collect, learn, repeat.

๐Ÿ“Š

For the zoo

Every scan is a quiet data point. Which exhibits hold attention longest. Where visitors linger or rush past. Which accessibility features are being used, and by whom, and at which stops.

Kids generate the engagement record the zoo needs for grant reporting just by playing the game. No surveys. No observation staff. No extra infrastructure beyond a QR code.

The data exists because the visit happened.

Experience

Three seconds to engaged.

The kid experience is designed to be invisible. No friction, no tutorial, no adult required. The game starts the moment the camera finds the code.

1

Scan

Point any phone camera at the QR code posted at the exhibit. Works on any device, any carrier, no app store visit required.

A browser page opens instantly.

2

Collect

A gold coin appears. A fact about the animal or exhibit is revealed. Accessibility options are quietly available โ€” read aloud, translate, simplify.

Each exhibit, a new coin. A new fact.

3

Continue

The hunt continues. Kids move through the zoo with purpose, driven by the next scan. The visit becomes a game they finish themselves.

Every step generates data.

Accessibility

Built for every visitor.

Scaventure's accessibility layer isn't a separate mode or a different experience. It's built into every single scan. Visitors choose what they need without drawing attention to themselves โ€” no asking staff, no special equipment, no separate entrance.

The backend quietly records which accessibility features are used at each exhibit. The zoo receives passive ADA compliance documentation generated by normal visitor behavior โ€” no additional data collection required.

Institutional Value

The data your
funders want to see.

Grant applications live and die on demonstrated engagement. Scaventure generates that record automatically as a byproduct of the visitor experience โ€” no surveys, no clipboard observations, no added operational burden on staff.

๐Ÿ“

Traffic Flow

Which paths visitors actually take versus intended routes. Where bottlenecks form. Which areas of the zoo are undervisited and why.

๐ŸŽฏ

Exhibit Engagement

Scan rates and dwell patterns by exhibit, time of day, day of week, and season. Which animals draw the longest attention. Which signage isn't working.

Accessibility Usage

Feature adoption data by exhibit and visitor segment โ€” ready for ADA reporting, accessibility audits, and inclusion-focused grant applications.

All of this data is generated because kids are playing a game they enjoy. The zoo doesn't ask for it. Visitors don't know they're providing it. It simply exists as a record of the visit.

See It

The prototype is live.

It's early โ€” a gold coin and a fact, the core loop working as intended.

Early enough to shape. Far enough along to see exactly what it becomes.

The right place to start.

We're looking for one institutional partner to pilot Scaventure in a real venue. A zoo built on education and accessibility seems like the right place to start.

Let's talk for 20 minutes.
